John Bruce secures defense verdict for internal medicine physicians and practice

Attorney John Bruce obtained a defense verdict in favor of two internal medicine physicians and their practice in Middlesex Superior Court. The plaintiff alleged that the defendant physicians were negligent in admitting her to a nursing home, rather than an acute care hospital, and in managing her medications and back condition. The plaintiff claimed that she was over medicated and fell as a result of the defendants’ negligence. After a thirteen day trial, the jury found in favor of the defendant physicians and their practice.
