John Bruce successfully defends rehabilitation hospital and its nursing staff

Attorney John Bruce obtained a defense verdict in Middlesex Superior Court on behalf of a for-profit rehabilitation hospital, and its nursing staff. Plaintiff alleged that the nursing staff failed to follow physician orders, leading to the development of post-operative bleeding, and substantial disability in one lower extremity. After a twelve day trial, the jury rejected the plaintiff’s claims and found for the defendant rehabilitation hospital.
